In the first quarter of 2010, Saigon Commercial JS Bank (SCB) reached over 54.153 trillion dong in total assets, a year-on-year rise of 35.65 percent, total funds of 4.119 trillion dong and total deposits of 48.670 trillion dong, surging 41.30 percent, and total outstanding loans of over 21.405 trillion dong against the same period of 2009.

In March alone, the bank earned 113 billion dong of pre-tax profit with the operation network of 114 transaction sites nationwide.

Shareholder meeting of SCB recently passed 2010 business targets with chartered capital of 4.190 trillion dong, total assets of 56.779 trillion dong, total deposits of 50.695 trillion dong, total outstanding loans of 31.302 trillion dong, total pre-tax profit of 700 billion dong, and a dividend of 8 percent.

SCB will remove it’s headquarter to the 16-storey building at 242 Cong Quynh St, HCM City by this June.
