CLEMENS BURKART, CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

Mr. Burkart joined VCBF in April 2006 and is based in the Ho Chi Minh Office. Mr. Burkart has spent much of his professional career in banking in Vietnam, and had worked primarily for the representative office of BHF-Bank, which was part of the ING Group from 1998 to 2004. He was elected to leading roles in the German and European Business Associations. Prior to moving to Vietnam, worked with BHF-Bank in Frankfurt for the banks’ emerging market business in South Asia. Mr. Burkart holds a Masters Degree with Honours in Economics from the University of Bonn, Germany.
