The Vietnam Posts and Telecommunications Group (VNPT) and the Ministry of Finance (MoF) recently signed an agreement to carry out the principle of bid packages to upgrade and expand transmission lines for financial communications infrastructure, at a total cost of approximately VND74.5 billion in Hanoi.
The VNPT will provide related services to meet the demands of MoF in maintaining transmission lines, upgrading and expanding new lines for unique financial sector media infrastructure to the end of 2011. All charges for upgrading transmission lines speed as well as hiring terminal equipment will be free. For transmission line quality, the VNPT is committed to provide high-speed, stable transmission services.
