Bien Hoa Sugar Joint Stock Co held its annual shareholders meeting on April 16, in which the shareholders approved the company's business plan of earning 1.539 trillion dong of total revenue and 77.187 billion dong of pre-tax profit in 2010.

The sugar producer plans to spend 146.9 billion dong carrying out construction projects of sugar refinery workshop in Bien Hoa City, Bien Hoa-Tri An sugar refinery, Bien Hoa-Tay Ninh sugar refinery.

Pham Thi Sum, chair of management board stated that last year, the company estimated to reach total revenue of about 1.2 trillion dong, and profit of 128 billion dong, surpassing 13 percent of the year plan and raising its EPS of negative 4,446 dong in 2008 to 6,480 dong.
