Switzerland-based ABB Group has officially put into operation the new electrical equipment factory worth $30 million in Bac Ninh province on March 11 after 15 months of construction.

The group has recruited about 100 local employees for the factory that is located in an area of 87,000 square metres in Tien Son Industrial Zone, Bac Ninh province.

The new factory will manufacture electrical equipment to meet the demands for domestic markets, applying new technologies to be supported by the group and other ABB's technological centres in all over the world.
