Hoang Trung Hai, deputy prime minister recently checked the construction works of Ninh Binh fertiliser plant project on March 8 after nearly two-years of construction.According to the investor’s report, the detailed technical designing works of the project have been fulfilled by over 90%.

It is expected that all the works will be completed in May 2010. The instalment of the project’s equipment worth US$370 million has been carried out in time with the construction speed.

This year, the general contractor planned to concentrate on fulfilling all the designing works, transporting 90% of the equipment and construction materials to the construction site, and completing basic construction so that in April 2011, the plant will start trial operation period and commercial operation period in October 2011.

Ninh Binh fertiliser plant project has total investment capital of over 11 trillion dong, to be conducted within the period of 42 months. The plant will have designed production capacity of 1,760 tonnes of urea per day.
